Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between KoreaConnect (the “Site”) and users (the “Users”) in relation to all services provided by the Site (the “Services”).
Article 2 (Definitions)
User refers to both “Members” and “Non-Members” who access the Site and receive the Services in accordance with these Terms.
Member refers to an individual who has registered on the Site and is able to use the Services provided.
Non-Member refers to an individual who uses the Services without registering as a Member.
Article 3 (Disclosure, Explanation, and Amendment of the Terms)
The Site shall display these Terms on the initial screen of the Services to ensure Members can understand them and may also provide access via linked pages.
The Services are provided on the condition that the Member accepts these Terms. A Member is deemed to have agreed upon completing registration.
These Terms take effect when announced online.
If the Site amends these Terms, it shall specify the effective date and provide notice at least 7 days prior. If changes are disadvantageous to Members, notice will be given at least 30 days in advance with a clear comparison of old and new terms.
If a Member does not agree to the revised Terms, they may withdraw. Failure to explicitly refuse before the effective date will be considered acceptance.
Matters not defined in these Terms follow relevant laws such as the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, and other applicable commercial practices.
Article 4 (Rules Outside the Terms)
The Site may establish separate terms or policies for paid or individual services (“Paid Service Terms”). In case of conflict, the Paid Service Terms shall prevail.
Undefined matters or interpretations follow the Paid Service Terms, relevant laws, or commercial practices.

The Site shall approve the application unless the applicant:
- Previously lost membership status (unless reinstated by Site approval after 3 years)
- Provided false information, omitted entries, or made typographical errors
- Is determined to cause technical or operational difficulty for the Site
Duplicate membership information may result in suspension.
The agreement is formed when the Site’s approval reaches the Member.
Members must promptly update their information when changes occur. Responsibility for issues arising from outdated information lies with the Member.
Article 6 (Termination of Use Agreement)
Members may terminate their agreement at any time via the My Page menu.
The Site will promptly process withdrawal and delete personal data unless otherwise required by law or the Privacy Policy.
Posts made by the Member (e.g., on public boards) will not be deleted upon termination.
Article 7 (Restriction of Service Use)
The Site may suspend or terminate use without prior notice if a Member violates these Terms, relevant laws, or disrupts normal operation.
Immediate suspension or termination may occur if Article 10 (Member Obligations) is violated.
Article 8 (Protection and Use of Personal Information)
The Site collects the minimum necessary personal information for service provision.
Personal data is not used beyond disclosed purposes unless the User is informed and consents, except where required by law.
Users may access and correct their data at any time, though certain IDs may be non-editable.
The Site or third parties must promptly delete personal data once the purpose has been fulfilled.
Consent to data collection/use is not pre-checked, and refusal does not restrict access unless legally necessary.
